René Halkett & David Jay [1981] - Nothing + Armour - 7"

René Halkett was member of the original - Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar. The words on this record are Halkett's and were recorded on a portable cassette recorder on his cottage in Cornwall on the 28th of July 1980.

The project was completed with Jay recording the music on this record at Beck Studio in Wellingborough on the 18th of April 1981.

The Sheffield band then signed to the Dindisc label (home of OMD and Modern Eon), but they never released another record.

Both "Raindance" and its B-side, "So Many Others", were resurrected for the 4AD compilation:
